Shadow Walkers – K

I have been working on a body of work that explores the human form, shadows and the idea of moving into the light, walking betwen shadows and the way in which a single light can be genuinely evocative in the ways a photographer can portray a subject for a long time now.

My most recent subject, K, was able to work with me at Pavilion Photographic Studios a couple of weekends ago, and despite the long history of this project I was pleased to find that yet again there were new experiences, new images to find and capture, and that the whole process was as rewarding and fresh as it ever had been.

We made some images that I am truly proud of, and I do see the process as having been a collaboration between her and me.
