The snow appeared to cover the landscape like a soft woolen sheet when Ferdie peaked out of the window on his way back to bed. Allie was still asleep, she had not stirred when he had arisen to use the bathroom, and now he stood by the window just watching her sleep. He loved the way her face would become so peaceful when she slept, he valued the privilege to see her true face as much as anything about their relationship.<\/p>\n
He turned back to the window and pulled the curtains open, letting the winter sun into the room. Allie stirred as the light played across her face, and through sleepy eyes she looked up at Ferdie;<\/p>\n
\u201cGood morning, babe. Did it snow?\u201d<\/p>\n
A wide smile spread across Ferdie\u2019s face and he simply nodded and pointed out of the window. His smile was joined by an equally exuberant smile on Allie\u2019s face as she bounded out of bed and threw herself into Ferdie\u2019s arms. Squeezing him hard and pressing their bodies together she rained kisses down on his face;<\/p>\n
