I mean I accept that it's an unacceptable omission for you, but I could not care less about Flash, to be completely honest. Admittedly I was referring to iTunes-based Film and TV purchases and video podcasts when I was talking about video on the go, so apologies for the confusion there. The price is right, the form factor is right, the apps are all already out there. I for one have a growing digital book/comic collection that is just aching for a device to read them on. I still can't read on the laptop but the iPad might be different. I went from thinking this is great to now I'm not so sure. I think the problem is how could Apple top the iPhone? It's such a fantastic piece of kit that it's hard to beat. So they've made it bigger and taken the phone out of it. For that reason I think it's disappointing because it will be far too expensive for what it is imo. The features that would make this a must have for me - 1. Turn it into a universal remote - give it infra red as well as the wi-fi and bluetooth and you have a true all in one that could be stunning as a remote. Infact it could have been the hub of a home entertainment house! 2. Expansion slots for SD cards etc, 64Gb as a max just isn't enough. 3. Give it that and the right apps and it (potentially) becomes a seriously flexible rpg assistant. Dice rollers, flick of the finger stat cards, quick (handwritten) note taking and picture (map) projection all from one device (two with a projector).. that'd be cool.
